ICM Method

Image Color Management (ICM) Method determines how the printer handles color matching.

To select ICM Method options:

  1. On the Advanced tab, click Driver.
  2. Click ICM Method. Select an option:
    • ICM Handled by Printer (Recommended): This option performs color matching calculations on the printer. Rules for color mapping are created and downloaded to the printer. The printer uses these rules to adjust colors in the document.
    • ICM Disabled: This option disables the ICM feature. If you use a color correction on the Image Options tab, select this option. For details, refer to Image Options.
  3. Click OK.
