Color Correction

1. Click Print Settings > Image Options.
2. Select the Color Correction subtab.
3. To print in black and white only, select the Xerox Black and White check box. The sample image changes to reflect your selection.
4. To use Color Correction, click Color Correction, then select an option.
   • Xerox Automatic Color: This option applies the best color correction to text, graphics, and images.
   • Commercial: This option applies color for printing on a commercial printing press.
   • Vivid Color: This option produces brighter and more saturated colors.
   • Vivid RGB: This option produces brighter and more saturated colors using red, green, and blue colors.
   • Euroscale Press: This option matches the European FOGRA glossy paper specification.

     FOGRA is a color standard, designed to help print colors in offset and common digital printing technologies.

   • sRGB Scientific: This option produces more color detail within dark saturated images.
   • LCD Display: This option approximately matches the colors in the print job to the colors used by your computer monitor display screen.
   • sRGB Display: This option approximates the color in the print job to the red, green, and blue (RGB) configuration of your computer monitor display screen.
   • SWOP Press: Specifications for Web Offset Printing (SWOP) Press is a professional CMYK -based printing standard commonly used in North America.

     Cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK) are the colors that the printer uses or combines to make all colors.

   • ISO Coated: This option provides an emulation of the FOGRA 27 standard for printing on coated paper. Printing on coated paper is not required when using this setting.
   • ISO Uncoated: This option provides an emulation of the FOGRA 29 standard for printing on uncoated paper.
   • Japan Color: This option matches the Japan Color 2001 specification.
   • Spot Color: This option mixes cyan, magenta, yellow, and black to approximate spot ink colors on a printing press.
   • FOGRA: This option adjusts colors to match the FOGRA color standard.
   • GRACol: This option adjusts colors to match the GRACol specification.

     General Requirements for Applications in Commercial Offset Lithography (GRACoL) provides a standard reference for commercial printing and proofing.

   • None: This option provides no color correction.
5. To use more options for customizing the colors in your print job, click Custom Color, then select an option.
   • To apply RGB color settings, click RGB Color.
   • To use CMYK color settings, click CMYK Color.
   • To use spot ink color settings, click Spot Color.
   • To use CIE color settings, click CIE Color.
   • To use gray settings, click Gray.
6. Click OK.
