Z-fold Half Sheet

The Z-fold Half Sheet option folds larger-sized pages to match the paper size of the main document. The Z-fold pages are folded into thirds. For easier opening, the top third is smaller than the other two sections. Only those sheets that are larger than the main document page size are folded.

To apply the Z-fold Half Sheet option:

On the Printing Options tab, from the Finishing list, select Folding, then clickZ-fold Half Sheet.
In the Z-fold Half Sheet window, for Binding Edge, select an option.
- Unspecified: This option does not apply the Z-fold Half Sheet option.
- Left: This option folds using a Z-fold, with binding on the left.
- Right: This option folds using a Z-fold, with binding on the right.
- Top: This option folds using a Z-fold, with binding on the top.
- Bottom: This option folds using a Z-fold, with binding on the bottom.
For Document Orientation, select an option.
- Portrait
  The Portrait option orients the paper so that the text and images print across the short dimension of the paper. You can select this option only for Left and Right Binding Edge.
- Landscape
  The Landscape option orients the paper so that the text and images print across the long dimension of the paper. You can select this option only for Top and Bottom Binding Edge.
For Z-fold Half Sheet Orientation, select an option.
- Portrait
  Text and images print across the short dimension of the Z-fold half sheet.
- Landscape
  Text and images print across the long dimension of the Z-fold half sheet.
Click OK.
Make other selections for the print job, as needed.
Select another tab or click OK.
