Preferences Tab Help
Purpose of the Preferences Tab
The Preferences tab contains additional pages that administrators
can use to configure printer search settings, such as search scope and search
schedule, as well as view preferences for the various configurable tabs. The
default page that loads when you click the Preferences tab is the Printer
Search Scope page.
The Preferences tab links to the following pages:
- Search Scope - Search Scope is the default page that displays when you click the
Preferences tab from anywhere within Printer Neighborhood. You can modify printer search scope options from this page. For more information, see the Search Scope Help.
- Search Schedule - You can set or change settings that instruct the printer when to perform printer searches. For more information, see the Search Schedule Help.
- Display Columns - Use page to modify the column display fields for the configurable tabs in Printer Neighborhood. For more information on configuring the display settings, see the Configure Display Columns Help.
- Display Settings - Use this page to set the number of printers that display per page. See the Configure Display Settings Help for more information.
Note: Access to the pages contained on the Preferences tab is controlled by the administrator. You may require a user name and password to access these functions. See the Administrator
