LDAP Directory Help
Use this page to configure the LDAP server to look up email addresses stored on the network.
Server Information
To configure the LDAP server information, select the following options:
IP Address/Host Name & Port - Enter the LDAP IP address or host name and port number. The port default number is 389.
Backup IP Address/Host Name & Port - Enter the backup LDAP IP address or host name and port number. The backup server is accessed if the primary server is unavailable.
Optional Information
To configure the optional LDAP server information, select the following:
Search Directory Root - Enter the LDAP IP address or host name and port number. The port default number is 389.
Login Name - Enter the server login name, if necessary.
Password - Enter the password of the server, if necessary.
Re-enter Password - Verify the password.
Search Time-Out - Specify type of time-out to use for the server. You can set the LDAP server to limit the time or set the time limit manually in the seconds field.
Search Name Order - Specify the search name order.
Server Email Address Book - Specify the search name order for the Email Address Book.
Server Fax Address Book - Specify the search name order for the Fax Address Book.
When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
