This page enables you to control host access to the printer over LPR or Port 9100. Enter up to 5 IP address/address mask combinations that you want to control connections from, and then select Reject, Permit, or Disabled to specify the type of filtering. If a Host Access List is specified, hosts that do not match the settings on this page are denied access using LPR or Port 9100.

The format for both IP address and address mask is x.x.x.x, where x represents a decimal number from 0 - 255. The IP address entered cannot be 0.0.0.0 or any address starting with 127 or 224-254.

The first IP address/address mask combination in the list is given priority. If you are entering more than one IP address/address mask combination, enter the pair that covers the smallest area first. If Disabled is selected, the IP address/address mask are cleared and the valid setting next in the list is moved up one row on the Host Access List page when Save Changes is clicked.

When you are satisfied with your selections, click Save Changes to keep the settings or Discard Changes to keep the previous settings.
