Browse Job Accounting Records Help

The Browse Job Accounting Records page displays the job records stored in your printer RAM or on the hard drive if one is attached to your Xerox printer.

Note: Processing and printing jobs takes priority over processing job accounting records, so data may not be real-time if you run job accounting reports while the printer is busy. To get a more accurate report, it is best to access job accounting information only when the printer is idle.

Note: The actual values reported vary depending on the Protocol and printer driver used when each job was printed. For example, using NPRINT over NetWare provides the printer with the most information about the job being printed. When using Windows and NetWare, the job name is often LST: or LST:BANNER. Other jobs from other ports may provide even less information about the job.

Reading Job Accounting Records

The fields in the job accounting records are listed in the following table.

Field	Description
Job Index	The job identification number assigned by the printer.
Protocol	The network protocol used to send the print job. This value is up to 32 characters in length.
User Name	The user name from the print server. This value is up to 128 characters in length.
Host Name	The print server name. This value is up to 128 characters in length.
File Name	The name of the print file. This value is up to 128 characters in length.
Job Name	The name of the print job. This value is up to 128 characters in length.
Pages (Sheets) Printed	The number of pages (sheets) printed.
Pages (Sides) Printed	The number of pages (sides) printed.
Start Time	The job start time according to the printer's clock.
End Time	The job end time according to the printer's clock.
Interpreter Duration	The time required for the printer's PostScript interpreter to process the job.
Paper Type	The type of paper or other media used.
Custom Name	The name of the custom paper type used, if applicable.
Paper Size	The size of paper or other media used.
Standard Capacity Cyan Used Standard Capacity Magenta Used Standard Capacity Yellow Used Standard Capacity Black Used	The percentage of the standard size toner or ink supply for that color used by that job. For laser printers, the colorant supply is a toner cartridge. For solid ink printers, the colorant supply is an ink stick. The range of values is between 0.000000% and 100.000000%. If the field is blank, the toner or ink is not a Xerox product.
High Capacity Cyan Used High Capacity Magenta Used High Capacity Yellow Used High Capacity Black Used	This information is available for laser printers only. The percentage of the high capacity size toner supply for that color used by that job. The range of values is between 0.000000% and 100.000000%. If the field is blank, the toner is not a Xerox product.
Standard Maintenance Kit Used	This information is available for solid ink printers only. The percentage of the standard maintenance kit used by that job. The range of values is between 0.000000% and 100.000000%.
Extended Maintenance Kit Used	This information is available for solid ink printers only. The percentage of the high capacity maintenance kit used by that job. The range of values is between 0.000000% and 100.000000%.
Printer Model Number	The printer model configuration number.
