Clone Printer Help
Use the Clone Printer page to copy selected settings from a Source Printer to a Destination Printer on the same network. To clone the selected settings to a Destination Printer in a different domain or zone than the Source Printer, enter the Zone and Domain information in the fields below Optional
Settings.
Note: To use the Clone Printer feature, both the Source Printer and Destination Printer must have an IP address, netmask, and default gateway configured, both printers must be the same model, and HTTP must be enabled on the Destination Printer.
Cloning Settings from One Printer to Another
Select the parameters to be cloned from the Source Printer. You
can choose any combination of the following settings or you can select all by
clicking Check All:

Enter the IP Address or DNS Name of the Destination
Printer. If you enter a DNS Name, DNS must be configured on the TCP/IP
page.
Optional Settings
You may assign a Printer Name (SNMP System Name) to the Destination
Printer by entering this name in the Printer Name (SNMP System Name) field.
Modify the EtherTalk Zone and/or IP Domain Name settings if the
Destination Printer will be located in a different Domain / Zone.
Note: EtherTalk Zone and/or IP Domain Name settings will
be cloned only if the EtherTalk and/or TCP/IP settings are selected to be cloned
above.
Confirm Cloning Settings
When you click Clone Selected Settings, the Confirm Cloning
Settings page displays containing your selections. If you are satisfied
with the list of settings to clone, click Clone to continue; otherwise
click Cancel.
