Once the appropriate printer driver is installed on your network or computer, you can the select the following print features from the menus available in your application software.
Selecting print features
There are three ways to select print features:
From your applications (recommended). To select print features from Windows applications, refer to Print features quick reference: Windows 3.1, Print features quick reference: Windows 95, and Print features quick reference: Windows NT 4.0; to select print features from Macintosh applications, refer to Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Phaser 360), Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Apple LaserWriter 8), and Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Phaser 360 GX). Settings from your software application override the printer's front panel default settings.
Through your web browser. Use your web browser to select print features and view the status of the printer. Refer to the PhaserShare Networking System Administrator Manual for complete information.
From the printer's front panel. Use the front panel for selecting print features only if you were unable to install a driver from the printer's CD-ROM. Refer to Front panel overview for instructions on using the printer's front panel.
Note: If your printer is networked and you change the front panel
settings, make sure that you tell other users on the network.
Printer settings affect all prints made with nonsupported drivers.
