Previewing with Check Print
With the Check Print option, the printer automatically stops after it prints the first page of a document, letting you check the document before printing resumes. This function is especially useful when printing a large job.

Check Print is enabled as a default, with a timeout of 5 minutes: the printer waits 5 minutes after printing the first page of a document before it continues printing. You confirm your choice to continue or cancel the print job at the printer's front panel. To use the Check Print feature:

  1. Select Check Print in a supported driver:

  2. Go to the printer. Check your first print. At the Check Print message on the printer's front panel, press one of the buttons:

Setting the Check Print timeout

At the printer's front panel, scroll to the Printer Defaults menu, then scroll to Check Print Timeout to reset the timeout value. Refer to Front panel overview for information on using the printer's front panel.
