Adjusting print speed and resolution
You can adjust the print quality and speed for different documents and purposes. Standard, the default setting, provides the best reproduction for most business printing at 300 x 300 dots per inch (dpi). Select Fast Color for the fastest printing, and select Enhanced for the highest resolution.

If you have installed a driver from the printer's CD-ROM, select print-quality modes from your computer: refer to the tables Print features quick reference: Windows 3.1, Print features quick reference: Windows 95, and Print features quick reference: Windows NT 4.0 for menus for Windows applications; refer to Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Phaser 360), Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Apple LaserWriter 8), and Print features quick reference: Macintosh printer drivers (Phaser 360 GX) for Macintosh menus.

You can also select print quality at the printer's front panel. Refer to Print features quick reference: Printer's front panel for the front panel selections.
