TCP/IP Configuration (UNIX) PhaserShare Ethernet and Token Ring cards support the following capabilities: Print jobs. The interface can accept print jobs sent via AppSocket, ftp, telnet, lpr, or lp with lpr extensions. Printer status. The interface can report printer status through the following protocols: lpq/lpc (lpc for UNIX BSD systems only). Syslog (UNIX systems only). This protocol functions like a remote printer front panel for reporting printer status. SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol; UNIX systems only).
