Job Notes Preferences

Job Notes allow you to attach additional information to a print job. You can prevent print driver preferences from being overwritten by preferences from another application. For example, importing a job ticket or printing a document with embedded settings.

To select Job Notes preferences:

  1. Click Preferences.
  2. Click Job Notes > Preferences. Select an option:
    • Always Use the Current Job Name Value automatically uses the document name as the name of the print job in Job Notes.
    • Always Use the Current Sender Name Value automatically uses your Windows login as the sender name in Job Notes.
    • Always Use the Current Recipient Name Value always uses your Windows login as the recipient name in Job Notes.
  3. Click OK.
