Apply Application Defaults

Apply Application Defaults allows you to determine when to override the pre-configuration settings defined by the administrator with the application default values.

To use Apply Application Defaults:

  1. From the Devices and Printers window, right-click the printer, and select Printer properties.
  2. Select the Administration tab.
  3. Click Configurations > Apply Application Defaults. Select an option.
    • After Pre-Configuration: Overrides pre-configuration settings with application default values while printing an application.
    • Before Pre-Configuration: Overrides the administrator enforced pre-configured default values with the application default values while printing an application.
  4. Click OK.
