Setting timeouts You can use the Set Timeouts (TIMEOUTS.PS) file to change certain timeout values. When sent to the printer, your edited version of the Set Timeouts (TIMEOUTS.PS) file changes the values in the printer. These changes remain in effect until you change them again. Note: The Set Timeouts (TIMEOUTS.PS) file affects printer operation. If the printer is shared on a network, using this file may affect the prints requested by other users.
