Use the printer's rear-panel DIP switches. Your printer may be equipped with rear-panel DIP switches, which can be used to reset the printer. See your printer's user manual for details.
With a TCP/IP connection and a World Wide Web browser, you can use PhaserLink; see Resetting the printer: PhaserLink software.
Use a PostScript file from the printer's network utilities software. Resetting the printer with a PostScript file restarts the printer as soon as all the jobs in its queue are finished. You will not be able to use this method until your printer is configured on the network. For more information see the specific instructions for Macintosh, PC, and UNIX workstations, which follow. See Resetting the printer: PostScript files.
Macintosh users can reset the printer using the Apple Printer Utility.
