After
your network configuration is complete, you may want to disable protocols that you are not using to avoid unnecessary network traffic. There are four ways to disable protocols:
The procedures given here for disabling protocols only apply to EtherTalk and TokenTalk installations (using a PhaserShare Series B Ethernet or Token Ring card). The PhaserShare Series B LocalTalk card does not support the protocols discussed here, so they cannot be enabled or disabled.
You can enable protocols by the same procedures; just select the command to enable a protocol rather than disable it.
