There are two ways to print the PANTONE Color sampler chart for the Phaser 360 printer:

• Printing individual pages from Acrobat Reader: Open the pant360.pdf file in Adobe's Acrobat Reader application, and print the pages you want.

• Printing the entire chart: Download the pant360.ps file to the printer to print the entire sampler chart (prints about 46 pages).

  Note: Do not use any color corrections in a driver, or with a downloadable utility file, or on the printer's front panel, when printing the PANTONE Color sampler chart or when printing PANTONE Colors from an application. Using any color correction other than None will cause PANTONE Colors to print incorrectly.

1. See PC: Installing the PANTONE Color files for instructions on installing the files you need, including Acrobat Reader.

2. Once Acrobat Reader is installed, locate the PANT360.pdf file in the PANTONE subdirectory in the PHSRTOOL directory created on your hard disk by the printer's installer.

   Double-click the PANT360.pdf file to launch Acrobat Reader and open the file.

3. View and print pages from the color sampler chart file as desired.

   If you are printing from a supported driver (such as the Tektronix driver for Windows 3.1 or the AdobePS 4 driver for Windows 95):

   Print your document with the following selections. Any other selections in the driver will cause the PANTONE Colors to print incorrectly.

   • None TekColor color correction option

   • Enhanced print quality mode

   If you are not using a supported driver:

   Print your document with the following front panel selections or downloadable utility files. Any other selections will cause the PANTONE Colors to print incorrectly.

   • None TekColor color correction option

   • Enhanced print quality mode

4. Select PANTONE Colors within an application using the colors on the chart.

5. Print your document using one of the following methods:

   If you are printing from a supported driver (such as the Tektronix driver for Windows 3.1 or the AdobePS 4 driver for Windows 95):

   Print your document with the following selections. Any other selections in the driver will cause the PANTONE Colors to print incorrectly.

   • None TekColor color correction option

   • Enhanced print quality mode

   If you are not using a supported driver:

   Print your document with the following front panel selections or downloadable utility files. Any other selections will cause the PANTONE Colors to print incorrectly.

   • None TekColor color correction option

2. Print the PANTONE Color chart using one of the following methods:
   • PC users: Use the DOS COPY command to send the file to the printer. See Downloading files from a PC if you need instructions.

   • Workstation users: Send the file to the printer as you would any PostScript file.

3. Select PANTONE Colors within an application using the colors on the chart.

4. Print your document using one of the following methods:
