Loading the Universal Paper Tray

Loading the Optional Transparency Tray

1. Pull out the paper tray.
2. Squeeze and slide back the blue paper guides.
3. Press down to snap the metal plate into place.
4. Insert the paper; set it under the metal hook at the front right of the tray.
5. Set both back and side paper guides flush against the paper.
6. Push in the paper tray.

Envelopes, labels, card stock, and other specialty media must be loaded in the external multi-purpose tray at the right side of the printer. See Specialty Media.
