What is PhaserLink software?

PhaserLink software is a printer administration and support tool using World Wide Web technology: HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) and HTML (HyperText Markup Language). PhaserLink software gives you the following capabilities:

You can receive live printer status and manage your printer on nearly any network using a standard web browser.
You can define a link to your local web server's support page.
You can access on-line manuals and technical support information by using built-in links to the Tektronix web site.

System requirements

PhaserLink software provides printer status and printer management independent of network servers and operating systems.

PhaserLink software requires only a World Wide Web browser and a TCP/IP connection between the printer and the network. (TCP/IP must be enabled in the printer.)

Multiple language support

PhaserLink software is displayed in the language specified in the printer's internal memory. This language is selected from the printer's front panel. See your printer's user manual for information on selecting a language from the front panel.
