Note: If you are attempting to perform any front panel procedures and you don't see the expected menu choices on the front panel display, the front panel may be locked. For information on how to unlock it, see If the front panel is locked.
Note: When you are in the menu, if the front panel is not used for 5 minutes, the printer returns to the Ready state. Enter the Network Settings menu by pressing the right (---->) or left (<----) arrow buttons until the front panel displays Network Settings.

To disable EtherTalk:
Note: Your printer's front panel may not support disabling TokenTalk.
Press the Menu button; the front panel displays the current status of the EtherTalk protocol: EtherTalk: enabled or EtherTalk: disabled. The current status is marked with an asterisk (*) in the upper-right corner of the display.
Press the right arrow (---->) button until the front panel displays EtherTalk: disabled.
Press the OK button to disable the protocol; the front panel briefly displays Selected, then it displays EtherTalk.
Press the Menu button; the front panel displays the current status of the NetWare protocol (NetWare: enabled or NetWare: disabled). The current status is marked with an asterisk (*) in the upper-right corner of the display.
Press the right arrow (---->) button until the front panel displays NetWare: disabled.
Press the OK button to disable the protocol; the front panel briefly displays Selected, then it displays NetWare.
Note: You cannot disable HTTP from the Phaser 340 printer's front panel.
Press the Menu button; the front panel displays the current status of the HTTP protocol (HTTP: enabled or HTTP: disabled). The current status is marked with an asterisk (*) in the upper-right corner of the display.
Press the right arrow (---->) button until the front panel displays HTTP: disabled.
Press the OK button to disable the protocol; the front panel briefly displays Selected, then it displays HTTP.
Press the Menu button again; the front panel displays the current status of the TCP/IP protocol (TCP/IP: enabled or TCP/IP: disabled). The current status is marked with an asterisk (*) in the upper-right corner of the display.
Press the right arrow (---->) button until the front panel displays TCP/IP: disabled.
Press the OK button to disable the protocol; the front panel briefly displays Selected, then it displays TCP/IP.
