When you click
Do/Apply
to send changes to the printer, the printer checks each parameter value. If no errors are encountered, the settings are stored in the printer's non-volatile memory. If an error is detected, the value of that parameter in the printer's non-volatile memory remains unchanged. All parameters are checked, regardless of the number of errors encountered. The valid settings are changed, while the invalid ones are not. This allows the printer to report detailed information for
all
errors, not just the first one.
If all settings are successfully stored in the printer's memory, PhaserLink software reports:
No errors were encountered. If one or more errors exist, PhaserLink software responds with a three column table showing the parameter name, the incorrect value, and the reason for the error.
