Use this procedure to add a port for a printer when you have not yet installed the driver.

Start the Microsoft Add Printer Wizard:

From the Start menu, select Settings.

From the Settings menu, select Printers.

From the Printers window, select Add Printer.

Use the Add Printer Wizard to install your driver; select lpt1 as the connection port.
