A connection to the printer could not be made. The printer may be malfunctioning or busy.
Verify the following items, then resubmit your print job:
Confirm that the printer is powered on and displays Ready.
Confirm that the printer is connected to the network or your computer by following the cables from the printer to the computer or hub.
Confirm that the printer functions by printing the "Configuration Page" using the printer's front panel Information Pages menu.
If the printer is on the network:
Contact your network administrator for assistance.
Verify that you have provided
the correct TCP/IP
address for the printer. Print the "Configuration Page" from
the printer's front panel to verify that it is not reporting a Duplicate
IP message.
If there is a Duplicate IP
message, change the IP
address for the printer or for the other device.
Note: To
print the "Configuration Page": At the printer's front panel,
select Information, then press
the OK button. Select Information
Pages, then press the OK
button. Select Configuration Page,
then press the OK button to print.
