Paper and transparency trays

The printer is shipped with a letter- or A4-size paper tray. Use additional trays for different types of media to prevent frequent loading and unloading of a single tray. For printing transparencies, the optional transparency tray is recommended.

Lower Paper Tray Assembly

With a 625-sheet capacity, the Lower Paper Tray Assembly is recommended for high-volume printing needs and if you commonly print on several types of media. For example, office paper can be loaded in the lower tray and transparencies, letterhead, or label media in the upper tray. Using the optional Lower Paper Tray Assembly, you can configure the printer for dual-tray printing.
