Installing the files
|
- Insert the printer's CD-ROM or Phaser 360 Color Printer Installer for Windows Disk 1 into the appropriate drive on your computer.
- Do one of the following depending on your computer system:
Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0:
- Click the Start icon in the taskbar on your screen. In the menu that
appears, click Run.
- In the Run window, type in the drive for the CD-ROM or diskette,
followed by the file name SETUP, and click OK. For example: D:SETUP
Windows 3.1 and Windows NT 3.51:
- In the Program Manager, select Run from the File menu.
- At the Command Line, type in the drive for the CD-ROM or diskette,
followed by the file name SETUP, and click OK. For example: D:SETUP
- Click Next in the two introduction screens in the Installer.
- In the Select Installation Type dialog box, select Custom Install and click Next.
- In the Custom Install: Select Utilities dialog box, select the Printer Utilities option, and click Next. Files are copied to your hard disk.
- In the Finish Installation dialog box click Next. The software is installed in a PHSR360 directory, inside a PHSRTOOL directory created on your hard disk by the printer's installer.
