Installing the printer's software
Packaged with your printer is a CD-ROM and a set of floppy diskettes containing the software you need to use the printer. Included are installer applications that automatically install the printer's software onto your computer's hard disk plus drivers, PostScript printer description files (PPDs), color sampler charts, and utility files. You can select a standard installation (Easy Install) or select individual items (Custom Install). The tables below list the software installed by the printer's installer program for Windows:
