Note: Host color correction is available with certain Windows 95 applications only. Check your application's documentation for compatibility.

You can adjust an image's colors on the computer, or use the TekColor color corrections to adjust an image's colors in the printer. You should use only one color correction method at a time, or you may get unexpected results.

To use host color correction, do the following steps:

1. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on installing a PostScript printer driver for Windows 95. The printer's color profile is automatically installed with a driver.

2. In the Printers window, move the cursor over the Phaser 350 printer icon, and click the right mouse button.

3. In the menu that appears, click Properties; the Properties dialog box appears.

4. Click the Graphics tab.

5. In the Color Control field, make the following selections:
   • Select the Use image color matching option.

   • Click the Choose image color matching method button.

6. In the Image Color Matching dialog box, select one of the following options, and click OK:
   • Perform image color matching on the host

     This option gives you more accurate color matching but slower system performance.

   • Perform image color matching on the printer

     This option may produce less accurate color matching but better system performance.

   • Print using printer calibration

     This option uses color rendering information already in the printer.

7. Click the Device Options tab and make the following selections:
   1. Highlight Color Correction in the Printer features field.

   2. Select None in the Change setting for: Color Correction field.

   3. Click Apply, then click OK when finished.
