Other Type

Other Type allows you to select the type of paper for your print job.

To select a paper type:

1. On the Printing Options tab, from Paper list, select Other Type.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Select a paper type.
   • To select a paper tray that has any paper color, select Automatically Select Type.
   • To use the default set by the system administrator, select Printer Default Type.
   • To print on transparencies, select Other Type > Transparency. Other Color is set automatically to Clear (Transparency).
   • To select a paper type defined at the printer, select Custom or Custom Type [#].
     1. Select Paper > Other Type > Custom or Custom Type [#].
     2. For Paper Type, type the name of a custom paper type or select from a list of previously entered names.
     3. Click OK.

     Note: If you select a paper type that is not loaded in the printer, the printer holds the job until the required paper is loaded.
