Reset Printer Parameters (Phaser 380, 350, 340, 560, 550, 600 printers only)

Clicking Do/Apply on this page resets the printer, which sets most printer parameters to the values currently stored in the printer's internal memory. The effect is the same as turning the printer off, then on again. If a validation password has been assigned, you must enter the password for the change to take effect.

For best results, follow these steps when resetting the printer from this page:

  1. From the printer's home page, click Configuration; this displays the View and Configure Settings page.
  2. On the View and Configure Settings page, click Reset Printer Parameters.
  3. If a password is required, enter it.

  4. NOTE
    PhaserLink passwords are not encrypted.

  5. Click Do/Apply.
  6. Wait 10 seconds, then click the browser's Stop button.
  7. Reload the page in the browser.
