The Power indicator is on anytime the printer is ready to print. It will blink whenever the printer is warming up, processing data, or printing. The Error indicator is normally Off.

The two-line front panel displays text messages. The upper line displays printer status, menu names, and error messages. The lower line displays menu choices, command selections, and additional information when the "information" button is pressed.

When you press the Information button, you will see more information on printer status. During normal operation, pressing the Information button displays the printer's name, IP address, and configuration alternately on the lower line.

The left and right arrow buttons let you navigate through the menus and menu selections. The left arrow takes you to the previous selection. The right arrow takes you to the next selection.

The up arrow will increment the numerical value of each number in a configuration, such as in an IP address.

Press the Select button to select the displayed setting, menu choice, or command, such as Print.

The "exit" button returns the display to the previous menu without changing the current setting. Pressing it several times returns you to the Ready prompt.

The Error indicator is normally Off. It lights up whenever the printer detects an error or a jam. When a jam occurs, the printer indicates the location of the jam in the front panel display.
