The printer's optional SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) port is used for connecting external hard disk drives and scanners -- all are
SCSI devices.
The printer supports up to seven SCSI devices, as long as each has a unique SCSI ID number (any number between
0

6
) and the final device in the "daisy chain" is appropriately terminated. Devices can be connected in any combination of model and storage capacity.
