Supplemental print margin information
|
Note: See the printer's user manual for details and illustrations on media sizes, print areas, and margins.
The correct print area for A4-size media is: 200 x 267 mm.
Print margins are slightly different between roll media and cut-sheet media. The printer discriminates between roll media and cut-sheet media only through driver settings.
-
For roll media, the origin for the page (image area plus the margins) starts inside the boundary of the paper. When printing on roll media, the printer assumes that the image area is 100 percent for that page size, and that the requested page is smaller than the loaded paper. When an image reaches the size limits of the roll media, the printer clips the image near the edge of the paper because it adds margins around the area of the requested page size.
-
For cut-sheet media, the origin for the page (image area plus the margins) begins at the edges of the paper.
