Create a Picture Watermark
A Picture Watermark uses an image as the watermark. The picture file can be in .bmp, .gif, or .jpg format. You can create a picture watermark to print on a document, and select options including size and position on the page.
To create a Picture Watermark:
- From the Watermark menu, select New.
- In the Watermark Editor window, select Picture from the Options list.
- For File Name, type the path and name of the picture file or click Choose File, then locate and select a picture file. This option supports .bmp, .jpg, and .gif files.
If you do not want to use the image file name for the watermark name, type a different name in the Name field.
- For Scale, specify the percentage by which to enlarge or reduce the image.
- For Density, specify the percentage of opacity by moving the slider to the desired density. A density of 100% creates a fully opaque watermark. Use the Arrow buttons in the Density box to adjust the density. The default is 25%.
- For Position from center, do one of the following:
- Use your mouse to drag the image to the desired location on the page.
- Shift the image from the center of the page by first selecting the measurement unit to use. Enter numbers for the Horizontal and Vertical positions.
- To center the image, click Center.
- To preview a watermark, in the Preview Options section, select the following as desired:
- Select the size of the paper.
- Select the page orientation.
- Select Color for color printing or Black and White for monochrome printing.
- Click OK.
