Create a Time Stamp Watermark
A Time Stamp Watermark uses a time stamp as the watermark. You can create a time stamp watermark to print on a document. Time stamp elements include the day, date, time, and time zone.
To create a Time Stamp Watermark:
- From the Watermark menu, select New.
- From the Options list, select Time Stamp.
The Name field populates with the default time stamp name. If you do not want to use the default name for the watermark, type an alternative name in the Name field.
- For Time Stamp Format, select the options to include: weekday, date, time, and time zone. The values for the time stamp originate from the settings on your computer.
- To format the font, click Fonts and specify options, such as font family, style, size, and language script.
- To change the font color, click Color and select a color.
- For Angle, specify the angle of the time stamp on the page.
- For Density, specify the percentage of opacity by moving the slider to the desired density. A density of 100% creates a fully opaque watermark. Use the Arrow buttons in the Density box to adjust the density. The default is 25%.
- For Position from center, do one of the following:
- Use your mouse to drag the image to the desired location on the page.
- Shift the image from the center of the page by first selecting the measurement unit to use. Enter numbers for the Horizontal and Vertical positions.
- To center the image, click Center.
- To preview a watermark, in the Preview Options section, select the following as desired:
- Select the size of the paper.
- Select the page orientation.
- Select Color for color printing or Black and White for monochrome printing.
- Click OK.
